Kearney has once again earned a spot on the Military Times’ Best for Vets: Employers list. This annual ranking recognizes organizations that go above and beyond in hiring, retaining, and supporting veterans and military families.

Kearney was recognized as one of 2025’s Best Places to Work by the Dayton Business Journal. The firm has now received this honor for seven consecutive years, ranking third in the small business category for 2025.

Kearney was named one of 2025’s Best Firms to Work For by Accounting Today and Best Companies Group. Kearney ranked third in the large firm category, which is defined as having 250 or more team members.

Kearney has been honored as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina by SC Biz News in partnership with BridgeTower Media and Best Companies Group. In the first year in which the firm has earned this recognition, Kearney ranked 4^th in the large-employer category.

Kearney announced that the firm has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of industry veteran John Short as its Executive Vice President, Chief Growth Officer.

Kearney announced that INSIDE Public Accounting has once again named the firm as a “Top 100 Firm.” In 2025, Kearney received its best ranking yet, coming in at 29^th. IPA ranks participating firms based on net revenues.

Kearney was recognized with a 2025 Corporate Philanthropy Award by the Washington Business Journal. This year marks the sixth time that the publication has recognized Kearney for its charitable efforts.

Kearney & Company recently achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 certification. In an effort to help protect sensitive unclassified information, CMMC is a Department of Defense program that ensures defense contractors meet existing information security requirements.

Kearney & Company has been honored as a VETS Indexes 3-Star Employer in the 2025 VETS Indexes Employer Awards. This distinction highlights the firm’s strong commitment to veterans and the military community.

Kearney & Company has once again been named as one of the Best Places to Work in Virginia by Virginia Business. In 2025, Kearney ranked 12th in the Large Employers category.

Kearney & Company has been recognized with a Best Companies Group’s America’s Best Workplaces in 2025 Award. The nationwide awards were introduced this year and are held in partnership with BridgeTower Media. Kearney ranked third in the Large Companies category.
