ALEXANDRIA, Va. – June 6, 2025 – Kearney & Company, a premier audit, consulting, and technology firm focused on the government, was recognized with a 2025 Corporate Philanthropy Award by the Washington Business Journal.
The award is meant to “honor the region’s most active and inspirational companies and nonprofits who have made a difference in their communities through philanthropic work,” according to the Washington Business Journal. This year marks the sixth time that the publication has recognized Kearney for its charitable efforts.
Since its founding in 1985, Kearney has maintained a robust commitment to giving back. With the help of its Community Service Committee, the firm participates in a broad array of charitable initiatives each year supporting local, regional, national, and international causes. Kearney team members have the opportunity to participate in Days of Giving, where teams can use paid time to do community service together. From donations to service-based projects, Kearney strives to make meaningful contributions to its surrounding communities.

- Organizing an annual charity golf outing to support Warrior Canine Connection
- Helping with meal packing and food distribution events
- Holding an annual charity bowling tournament to support multiple nonprofits
- Building school supply kits at firm headquarters for neighbors in need
- Participating in National Rebuilding Day for Rebuilding Together DC – Alexandria
- Supporting the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life
