Kearney & Company Recognized as a Best Place to Work by the Washington Business Journal

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – May 20, 2025 – Kearney & Company, a premier audit, consulting, and technology firm focused on the government, has once again been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Business Journal. For 2025, Kearney ranked 2nd in the extra-large company category.

The Washington Business Journal has recognized leading employers in the Washington area for nearly two decades. The program identifies local organizations “that have gone above and beyond to create an outstanding workplace culture,” according to the publication.

“Among various measures demonstrating Kearney’s success, being consistently named as a Best Place to Work is one of the most meaningful,” said Chief Executive Officer Brian Kearney. “We are tremendously proud of all our team members’ dedication to maintaining our unique culture, which reflects Kearney’s core values.”

To make the Washington Business Journal Best Places to Work list, nominated businesses meeting criteria for business location and size are invited to participate in surveys distributed by Quantum Workplace. The winning organizations and their rankings are solely determined by employees’ responses to the survey.

The survey evaluates employee engagement and the following factors:

  • Communication and resources
  • Manager effectiveness
  • Team dynamics
  • Individual needs
  • Personal engagement
  • Trust in leadership

The Washington Business Journal’s 2025 Best Places to Work honorees were recognized at a celebration on May 15. For the full list of organizations that were honored, visit here.
