People tend to think of leadership in the singular: one person running a company, one company dominating an industry. At Kearney & Company, one is an important number, but it's not the number we use in reference to leadership. For Kearney, leadership is a group effort. We strive, as a firm, to answer questions before clients ask them. To discover better ways to solve recurring problems. To nurture staff talent for client success.
Over the years, Kearney has grown significantly by ensuring that we remain in the forefront of emerging accounting and auditing issues that are likely to impact the Federal Government. We maintain an active internal research program that has resulted in publishing books on Federal auditing and accounting. We also sponsor research and provide support staff for projects led by the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
Our efforts seem to be paying off. Kearney & Company was named one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in Washington, D.C. by Washington SmartCEO magazine, and one of the ten fastest-growing companies in the country by INSIDE Public Accounting. Kearney & Company also received a GovStar "Industry Star" award for our "technological innovation, workplace environment, growth, veteran support, and resiliency."
