BEP engaged Kearney to assist in its pioneering effort to voluntarily comply with the requirements of the SOX Act prior to OMB's issuance of the revised guidance. Kearney's role was to provide interpretations of authoritative literature, develop documentation and workflows to facilitate a third-party audit. We also conducted risk assessments to identify and remediate "compliance gaps" with SOX, and assist with required testing and coordinated the effort with outside auditors as well as executed testing and monitoring plans.
